Diamond in the Rough
And I just can't get enough
Jacqueline is a slightly tall man standing at around six feet two and weighing around a hundred sixty pounds. He's rather thin, but that doesn't mean he isn't weak. Underneath his clothing is a rather healthy build, nothing overly done. He has normal length blonde hair that's rather curly when it isn't taken care of, most of the time jelled back. His piercing blue eyes hold a large amount of knowledge that flicker with occasional green and gray colors. Jacqueline has rather fair skin, not to pale and not to tan. Just perfect.
Jacqueline is one of those people that could wear anything and still look great in them. He usually tends to wear a t-shirt, jeans, and converse sneakers, along with his leather jacket every once in awhile. Due to his English heritage, he not only speaks like one, but also dresses like one. He has a tendency to be well-dressed on big occasions. Suit, tie, and slacks. The usual. Sometimes changing the slacks to a regular pair of jeans. Skinny or baggy, it doesn't bother him much. Rarely does he wear sweatpants or any such article of clothing. Only his pajamas usually are in that fashion.
Every time Jacqueline goes out, he always brings a pleather book with him. It's a nice honey color. The book has a flap that opens up, making it almost journal like in looks. This book is possibly one of his most prized possessions. The book was owned by his mother. She had given it to him after he began to write. Either it be poetry or stories, everything was in there. It's wrapped in a crimson colored string, thick and sturdy.
Another prized possession of his is a rather odd looking key. It's quite a sight to look at but absolutely stunning. Jacqueline tends to wear it as a necklace, hidden under his clothing. The item itself is slightly useless, as its design is not only complex, but also the key ward itself is unable to be used. The bow of this key is a pair of butterfly like dragon wings, along with the dragon itself, and a green gem. The tail of the dragon wraps around the stem, all the way down to the pin, making a hoop towards the end and a slab at the end. It was his grandfathers and is never taken off, only during bathing or swimming.
It's All a Part of Me
And that's who I am
Jacqueline is a rather nice man, not to mention super friendly. He'll meet you with a bright smile and tell you to call him Jack, making a strong bond between one another. He's quite talkative at times as well; especially if it's about a topic he knows. And if you know one of his books, prepared to be loved for awhile. Jacqueline isn't exactly a famous author, not that he's complaining, but he puts all his time and effort into each and every book he makes. Albeit, he's only made three, but that doesn't bother him. He tends to take experiences that he's had and make them into well written books. Thou, fantasy is more his strong point when it comes to writing, so not a lot can be taken from the rather monogamous routine of the world. However, Jacqueline always tries to see the better in things; both in situations and people.
Jacqueline doesn't usually go outside, especially when it comes to him working. But lately, he's been trying more and more to be out there. Due to his work, most of his time is spent inside his lovely abode. This has caused a slight phobia of the outdoors. Nevertheless, he constantly fights this fear to continue his works. Sitting inside all the time doesn't really let ideas fall from the sky. They'd hit the roof and never reach him. If Jacqueline is ever outside, it's most likely to go buy food. However, if it's one of those days where he's out writing, he'd stay to himself. Most of his focus is towards his writing, so being interrupted would possibly make him loose his train of thought. And this is why he writes fast; his writing worse than chicken scratch. But he can read it, so it's all good. It's a wonder why he never uses computers.
When it comes to friends, he tries not to make to many. Due to an incident, he has a hard time trusting people. He fears that they are only out for his money. However, it's rather hard since he's quite the charismatic fellow. Jacqueline actually enjoys meeting people. He loves the stories they tell, either the youngest of age or the oldest it doesn't matter, everyone has something interesting to say in his opinion. The freedom to speech is one of his rather favorite 'quotes'. That also causes a problem at times. There isn't a single mean bone in his body. So if someone was to be rude to him, he couldn't find himself being rude back. Nor is anything taken personal. Unless... Well it is personal. But that's a different story.
One thing, however, he can honestly say he dislike, is those who lie. It's not really the person he dislikes, but the action itself they had taken. This is why some of the times Jacqueline avoids topics involving gossip or about famous people. Even the news can sometimes be ignored if there's something like that in it. Due to this, he has refused all journalism job requests. They expect him to write whatever, and if it's not the truth then it doesn't matter, he just has to write. That's why he'd taken such a liking to writing stories. They can be as true as he wants, and no characters could be liars.
It's Time to Fly
And let's just say goodbye
Jacqueline was born and raised on the outskirt of London, England. He had a mother, father, and elder sister who he loved dearly, along with his grandparents. At a young age, Jacqueline was always imaginative. His world wasn't black and white. Everything he did, could be turned into the greatest adventure he'd ever have. He tended to run off deep into the forest where his castle fortress laid and come up with a amazing stories and such. Then come home and tell his parents all of it. The sad thing was that usually most of his stories were forgotten. Until his mother gave him her book. The object never left his side. It was taken with the utmost care.
As he grew older, Jacqueline's writing got better and better. He dreamt of being an author. That was his life goal. Even if he'd publish only one book, it would be enough for him. He spent large amounts of time in his room writing when the ideas came. However, if he was every in a writers-block, a good walk helped him out. He had friends to hang out with at times, and their stupidity seemed to work its way into his stories. Not to mention his family was a huge part of his stories. They'd tell him his history, like that he had relatives in Ukraine, and other relevant things. Family gatherings were like visiting a candy shop with tons of money. Despite the arguments at time, Jacqueline could always pull out bits and pieces of their shouting and use them for stories. They'd actually joke about it. He'd just smile and nod.
His school years were rather droll. He passed with flying colors, being an honor student for a large quantity of time. High school flew by and at the age of 16, he graduated. Despite being free from not only school, but his parents as well, he stayed close to them. When he went to off to college for journalism and such, Jacqueline didn't bother with having dorms. The school was rather close to his home so there was no need. Besides, he didn't really like being far from his parents for long times. During his time in college, Jacqueline made plenty of friends, which was surprising. However, he was a very outgoing person so it made sense. It was, sadly thou, that his time there was the cause of his dislike for lying and journalism. His friends usually wrote gossip columns that were quite brutal on people. He couldn't find himself hating his friends as he was too attached. But, he tried convincing them to stop, but it never worked. That's how the teen got it in his head that journalism was bad. There was the temptation to drop out of school, but he was smart and knew that to write his stories, he'd have to have some kind of journalism degree. So he sucked it up and eventually graduated.
Once he was done, Jacqueline did a lot of odd jobs to keep himself afloat. He still lived with his parents for a bit. But it was only until he had enough money. He was thinking about going to Vale, to work abroad. More experiences for stories too. However, someone close to him, used that as an excuse, for what, Jacqueline never found out, to binge money off of him. And Jacqueline couldn't say no. This delayed his trip more and more, until the man was arrested for ID theft. That gave Jacqueline time to gather more money and before he knew it, it was time to go to Vale. Sadly, a turn of events came, and his grandparents passed away. The funeral was done and the will read, leaving him with his grandfather's key. Despite this event, he still went to Vale. It was to take his mind off things and hopefully for the better.
