A Vision, softly Creeping
Left it's Seeds, while I was Sleeping
and the Vision, that was Planted in my Brain-
still remains
Within the Sound of Silence

Rain pattered down softly around the Metropolis square, most people having sought the shelter of the nearby shops or their own homes- only a sparse few bearing umbrellas or ponchos. A woman was the black sheep of even this small percentage, sitting on the ledge of the grand fountain without any sort of protection from the soft rain fall that drizzled down from the dark gray skies. Her dark brunette hair was now almost black from the water that gently stroked at it, making it's way down to drench her clothing as well. Her dark gray shirt that earlier matched the tone of the sky was now almost as black as the fur that hid beneath the human skin. Beneath the image of the woman was the face of a beast- a wolf, to be precise. She had been born in the confines of paradise, or what remained of it ever since the humans began to encroach long before her lifetime, and she had been raised there. The wolf was about as wild as one could get, and was one that most who encountered learned to fear.
Beneath the facade, she was a stocky and tall black wolf, 4 sharp lines coming down over her right eye and scarring her face. A bullet hole was the prominent decoration of her right ear. On her chest, though, lay what caught most peoples attention. A large 'X' shaped marking, colored a dark gray, matching the dark gray on the tips of her rear toes, while the white on the tips of her front toes give a sharp contrast to her otherwise dark coat. To every other person, though, she appeared as a rather tall woman- standing at almost 6 feet tall, with dark brunette hair that cascaded down to her mid/lower back. Her skin was tanned, nicely sun-kissed, but the scars over her right eye marred her otherwise flawless skin, as well as the bullet hole in her ear. Her eyes, though, were what drew attention to the female- in both forms. A dark emerald backdrop flecked with spots of navy shimmered with some sort of unrecognizable emotion- one that any other animal would be able to recognize as pure and raw instinct. The mark of any wild beast.
For now though, she was human- at least in appearance. Her denim jeans seemed to have not changed color, and no shoes were on her feet as she had them propped up on the ledge with her. Shai enjoyed the rain- despite the damper it put on nearly anybody elses mood, it made her feel so free. Her eyes closed as she tilted her head up slightly, the light drizzle gently caressing her skin. Suddenly, footsteps could be heard approaching over the soft patter- though it did not earn any attention form the female. The footsteps fell faster than anyone in a normal walk, and still she did not think to acknowledge them... until an abrupt nudge sent her into the waters of the fountain. Startled, shai let out a snarl and shot up to her feet- glaring holes into the back of the mans blonde head. Almost as if he could feel the burn of her glare, he spun around on his heels and blinked in surprise at the scene before him- the woman baring teeth and snarling as she stood in the fountain. He kept walking though, muttering something inaudible to the fae over the roaring in her ears as she shook the water off of her, as was her canine nature- stepping out of the fountain with a single bound and taking a few steps after the man, not pleased in the least. "You motherfucker, you BETTER keep walking!" she yelled out, her voice echoing off of the buildings nearby and turning multiple heads as the man suddenly went off into a run, hiding his face against the rain with the collar of his jacket.
Giving a huff, shai backed up to the fountain and sat back down, muttering curses as the wind picked up a bit and sent a shiver down her spine. Sure, she had been sitting in the rain and seemed fine with getting wet, but that was different than being shoved into a fountain rudely without an apology. She crossed her arms over her chest, hands rubbing the skin of her biceps as she tried to wipe the excess water off.
