The Great Land of Paradise was opened many thousands of years ago by the wolves Kiba, Tsume, Toboe, Blue, and Hige. It was indeed a place of perfection; luscious green grass everywhere you looked, vast forests stretching out as far as the eye could see, mountains that seemed to brush against the crystalline sky, Lunar flowers growing upon the many hills of the Plains, and the tranquility of it all was evident in the creatures that inhabited the great land. As time went on however, the animals began to feel a disturbance among the Lunar flowers. Unbeknown to the animals of paradise, thier beautiful lunar flowers had been tainted by the blood of Darcia. The petals of these flowers turned black, and seemed to suck the life from the untainted flowers around them. But just as soon as they appeared, the flowers disappeared. Many hundreds of years went by after that day, the wolves who had opened paradise having already passed on, leaving behind many generations of their bloodline. The tainted flowers had hidden themselves from the world for all of that time as they evolved into something of an un-mentionable evil. They had evolved into creatures themselves, carrying in their veins the Blood of the Noble who had tainted them, and claimed themselves as Lunar Beasts. Together, there were Five of the un-aging beasts: two Wolves, a p anther, and two bears. These five had one common yearn, and that was to be the rulers of Paradise. With the intent of making their dreams come true, they set out to find the surviving descendants of the Five that had opened Paradise, killing them where they stood and moving on to find the next. In order to escape the wrath of these beasts, many of the animals however took to using their human illusions and abandoned their animal forms to become fully human and re-create the human society society. This made it increasingly hard for the Lunar beasts to track the bloodlines of the Five that opened paradise, and the task of eliminating the Bloodlines completely took many more centuries to complete. By this time, humans, or animals who had forgotten their true form, had finally made a full comeback. Cities rose and fell, only to rise again as even larger cities, races were born and wars were fought. Only smidgens of Paradise were left for the rest of the great lands had been taken by the human species and built upon. The animals had to evolve even further since their human illusions proved to be flawed; any animal could be distinguished simply by looking at the shadow or footprints that revealed their true form. As a result, the animals had no other choice but to truly shift into a human form. Now, the only possible ways to tell an animal in its shifted from from an actual human being is by their scent or to actually see them shift. For a few years, the Five Lunar Beasts believed that they had finally become the true rulers of paradise, or at least what was left of it. That is, until they discovered four new noble families had put themselves in power. The Leonardo Family, the Fra Angelico Family, and the Yeu Family, not of any relation to the nobles of the Past world, are now a new obstacle for the Lunar beasts to overcome as they plot to reclaim the sections of paradise taken by the humans.
