In General:

• Respect: to show regard or consideration for something.
  Show respect to everyone. Not just to the admins and staff, but to everyone who role plays.
  
  
• *Keeping some opinions to yourself: Talk about religion bashing, sexist ,or racist comments are NOT acceptable. You are given a warning (one). If you don't like it, keep it to yourself.
  
  
• Following rules: These rules are put up her for a reason, Ne? They are the foundation for good role playing and smooth traffic on this site. Try your best for me will you? I'm rather nice, but don't get too carried away now.
  
  
• Correct language usage in posts: When posting no chat speak. Think of your post like a story you want to be published. I will warn you if I see it. I don't care for it, and it diminishes the English language. If you wish to chat speak we have two chat-boxes. As a site we try our best to help develop you as a role player as well as develop you in word usage and the English language.
  
  
• *No fighting on the boards: I can't stand fighting on my boards. If you do have an argument, take it somewhere private. A PM or Email is better than where the whole world can see it. Don't take it to the C-Box either. That's even worse. You can PC (private chat) someone. However, once it becomes private chat you can’t involve any staff or admins. We’re all young adults here. Please don’t run to the staff with every little squabble you get into.
  
  
• C-Box: Let's keep it peaceful people. Not fighting! Take it somewhere else. Refer to the previous rule for more info. Don't advertise. We have a board for that. Don't spam either. Let’s all admit it, it gets annoying when we can’t get a word in because you had a sudden spaz attack. It is not required you use the C-Box. However, the C-Box is a great way to interact with other members and get to know them. Don’t let us catch you using the incorrect boxes.
  OCC: Chat box used for any out of character speaking.
  ICC: Chat box used for any in character speaking.
  
  
• The use of explicit language: Please keep to a minimum. You can use but not in every other sentence please. Don't make our eyes bleed. And take in account age of your characters too. If your character has a habit of cursing then it’s fine. We don’t want to see a kid who’s not even double digits cursing like a sailor.
  
  
• *Keeping personal Information to a minimum: Don't spill everything about yourself on this site. It's the Internet for crying out loud. Millions of people are on this every day. No pictures of yourself, where you live, full name, etc. I think you get my point. We are not liable if something happens to you because you gave out too much information. You said something regarding your personal information in the chat box and you wish for us to remove it please ask the Admins.
  
  
• Separating fake from fact: Feelings from your characters should be let go when talking with someone in real life. Just because your character hates someone else's character's guts, doesn't mean the role players can't be friends. When you press the ‘post’ button all feelings are left in the post.
  
  
• **Please do Not use our Templates, Character ideas, Board ideas ect. without PERMISSION: We have so far only had one incident where someone took the code for our template, which we staff worked very hard on, and they did NOT ask permission. Everything on this site is original, and nobody likes having their stuff used without being consulted with first. Consider this your ONLY warning. If we find you've taken something from the site without asking the owner of said object or the Staff, we will report you to proboards. If the offender happens to be a member, they will be Banned from Twisted Reality for 1 (One) week or more, or we may decide to have mercy and warn them. Punishment depends on the seriousness of the infringement, but be forewarned, you only get ONE warning, meaning if you steal again, you will not be banned from Twisted Reality for 1 (One) week, but instead, 2 (Two) weeks.

Roleplaying:

• No Godmoding or Powerplaying. No one likes it. I don't like it, therefore you can't do it. Every Site will tell you this. It gets on the other members nerves. You are in control of your character only and no one else’s. However, if it is planned before posting (given permission from the characters role-player) then it’s fine.
  
  
• Post must have a minimum of 400 words. It's not much. I believe the youngest person on the site is 14 which would be in high school. When you let your mind go you’ll find 400 word is easy. For more help Click here and read this post.
  
  
  
• Only Humans are permitted to have guns. Since animals shift they will have no place to store it. But nothing to serious ok. You’re not going to pull out a bazooka out f your back pocket. No more characters who are animals will be allowed to carry guns.
  
  
• Let's keep the moods real please, everyday life without the total loonies. You’re not going to be in the middle of a romance scene then all the sudden people are dyeing everywhere. If you have a "Bi-polar" character please be rational. This goes for split personality characters too.
  
  
• *You can only kill someone with the approval of the admins (Cia & Nara) and the person who role plays the character you wish to kill. Killing without the consent is not aloud.
  
  
• Violence is allowed to a certain degree. You can't expect to completely slaughter someone and expect them to live. Just keep in the frame of real with a pinch of fiction. Blood and gore is accepted however, as much you like.
  
  
• Romance is allowed as well. It happens all the time. Let’s not get crazy again. Give love a few posts to bloom. <3
  
  
• Like life, people get married and get pregnant. If you wish to have a child PM me (Nara) or Cia and we'll work out the details. When the character reaches the age of 10 we’ll ask you to create another account to continue playing this character or let someone else play the character.
  
  
• No chat speak in posts. Only one warning is given. Refer to earlier post on chat speak for more details.

  Right: Why do you have to go now, and I don't know and I don't care.
  
  
• Please don't try to get a role play with the same character or person over and over and over again. Add a little variety in life man! We understand if a certain plot requires you to post with the same person over and over again.
  
  
• Keep up with your threads please. If you haven't posted in a thread in over a month it will be moved. (But not deleted) It's important to keep them active if they aren't closed. If you see your thread has been moved and you wish to continue please contact the admins. (Cia & Nara)
  
  
• If your thread has ended please tell me (Nara), Cia, or Shai and we will move it. (Not delete it)

Characters:

• Only one character per account. I think it's easier to keep up with them and remove.
  
  
• * If you miss 2 consecutive activity checks (meaning back to back to back) your characters will be deleted, and any/all canons under your possession will be put back up for grabs. The bios for your original characters will be saved though, in case you become more active and wish the RP that character again so you won't have to wrestle with making another bio for the same character. However, if you become in active twice, you will NOT be able to have another canon.
  
  
  
• When you apply for a canon, please keep in mind that you will be put on a two week trial. If we feel that you are not up for handling a canon, we will revoke your acceptance.
  
  
• You can have as many characters as you want as long as you can keep them active, but only one canon
  
  
• You must have enough money before you apply for a new character.
  
  
• Please wait till your character is accepted before role playing
  
  
• Use the character form correctly. Fill them out completely and please don't mess with the codes. We took to the time to set the format up don’t add your touches.
  
  
• Name must contain first, last, and middle if the character has one.
  
  
• Your display name must be your characters first & last name.
  
  
• Playable characters: Humans & Animals. Canons: Nobles, Flower Maidens, Tainted Flower Maidens, Luner Beasts,
  
  
• * If you haven't posted with your character for one month, even if you've participated with the activity check, they will be moved to the Inactive characters board. If you're going to post in the activity check, please remember it means that you're actually going to RP with the character too.
  
  
  
• Appearance should be at least 250 words. This should include, hair, skin, height, weight, body type, markings, tattoos, and clothes.
  
  
• Personality should also be 250 words. Likes and dislikes, have fun with it. It's what makes a character them.
  
  
• History should be at least 250 but 350. Their life leading up till now. Parents, childhood, and memories, ect. Please consider all the rules before making their history as the rules apply to the past as well.
  
  
• Be creative. Please, not everyone has a horrible life, but make something different and interesting.
  
  
  
• Each human character can have one pet. Be real. Not mythical beings and stuff.
  
  
• Have a picture. It does really helps. Find a picture then base your appearance on them. Real life or otherwise are welcomed
  
  
• Keep ages relatively normal and in the age range. You can't expect to have a 60 year old spry as a chicken.
  
  
• * Sorry, we don't accept animals that are ad big as elephants. Please be reasonable with your animal and human sizes. You have to consider the terrain of TR. Sizes will be checked for accuracy. We urge you to research your animal a bit to learn of their correct dimensions. Animals should be no larger than three inches of the normal animal size. (E.g: A two foot baby girl should not turn into a 3 foot wolf.)
  
  
• Bi, Gay, and Lesbian characters are welcome. Again it's life. We don’t discriminate.

Avatars & Signatures:

• Signature must contain characters: First and last name, age, race (human, animal, flower, ect.) status (single, married, taken), and sex (male, female, both).
  
  
• Avatars can be a maximum of (150x305). And a minimum of (100x100)
  
  
• Signatures cannot be stretch the page width wise or length wise.

There are many members who would be willing to make a signature and/or avatar for you.
